It is the first conference dedicated to the microbiota in cancer with the participation of key opinion leaders from all over the world chaired by Giovanni Apolone and Riccardo Valdagni, Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, Milan (see Speakers for details).
Among the topics: host-microbiota interaction, role of microbiota in tumor growth, association between microbiota and inflammation, role of microbiota in the response to immuno-, radio- and chemotherapy.

MIBIOC Scientific Committee invites authors to submit abstracts on basic and clinical research related to the microbiota and its role in cancer.
Abstracts will be considered for poster presentation. Selected contributions will be presented also as oral during a 10 minute speech.
